Both are fine and will have seagate inside. Maxtor = 3 yrs warranty Seagate = 5yrs. WD green is their internal 3.5" desktop HDD range. You will need a casing/dock. Normal WD ext HDDs cost almost same as seagate, But ONLY 3 yrs warranty.
