hey guys just RMA'd and got the HDD today and its sealed as u can see

its 1 TB and 7200.12 also has warranty till 7th Jan 2015

adding pics and price is 2700 shipped

Is it 'Certified Repaired' or really a 'New' one ?
AFAIK,Seagate never give new HDD.
They always replaced with Repaired one.....
And 5 years of warranty.....:S
I thought Seagate provide 3 years of warranty for internal HDD.....:huh:

The HDD sold till end last year & early this year carried 5 years warranty

I think April 2010 onwards Seagate & WD both reduced the warranty from 5 years to 3 years & also reduced the prices comparatively.

You will get a certified repaired or a new one depending on the availability at the service centre & your luck, but you cannot insist for a new drive if you give one for RMA
