Audio 2.0 under 1K

Guys please suggest the best 2.0 under Rs.1000/-
I'm considering Altec Lansing BXR1220. Any thing else out there to look out for ?

JVC marshmallows , PL21, etc. ( , the are 2.0 )

I have heard the BXR1121, they were good, really good for its price.(though they were 2.1 ) , i dont know about 1221 ( hay, these are also 2.1, get your facts straight )

( i would really urge you to get increase your budget though )

My colleague just got a Creative A300 for 1.2K. Well worth it. I aint a audiophile, but it sounded pretty damn good. Nice bass and no tearing on loud volumes.

I need the minimal space usage thats why I'm considering 2.0.

i jus bought the edifier m1250...very very compact. usb powered. only 500 bucks. performance is surprisingly good. dont expect a miraculous performance though. but excellent value for money.
