2.1 speaker system at 1.5k?

My initial budget was 1k, but it looks like nothing comes in that. So, the new budget is 1.5k and 1.8k MAX.

Will be using it for movies and looking for good clarity and bass

Low on the bass, but rest all fine. Sound doesn't distort until you crank the volume above 70%, sadly that is the time when the bass response gets a bit of a punch -- personal experience.

sorry to hijack this thread, just wanted to know how different is a 520 compared with 510, not the exterior finish, but looking for more details related to the internal mechanism, cos both the models feature are all the more similar or is it that i'm missing out on something..?

this has a lower RMS compared to the original iBall Tarang 2.1, also the F&D 520 are also really good. Available in the same price band, Though F&D 510 is a little better looking, a slight let down due to the plastic material used in its manufacture compared to the 520 which is made out of wood.

Creative has 3-4 models at 1k-1.5k range all are equally good check at your local shops you can have a good deal.

No they dont. I have used creative a300 and loved them for the price. I just booked A335 from flipkart. I hope i like these too.
