I need to buy a Split AC of 2.5 Ton for my Living room. There are 2 passages attached to it and the area is to be covered.
The overall area is around 330 Sq.Ft.
I went to Cromas and Kohinoor where I was adviced to go for either 2x1.5 Ton ACs or a single 2.5 Ton AC. Since there is only 1 mounting point I will have to go for a single 2.5 Ton AC. A major problem with 2.5 Ton AC is that the retailers keep only AC upto 2 Tons and was asked to contact the distributor directly. There was a vertical AC of 2.3 Ton from Samsung but it doesn't suit our requirements as setting it up is difficult.
My father enquired at Sony Mony SV Road and they came up with Voltas, Blue Star and O'General 2.5 Ton Split AC. A guy from Cromas who has helped us on numerous previous occasions told us that he can arrange a 2.5 Ton LG but nothing is guaranteed. Common problem here is none of them have it at present and should we choose to proceed then they will get it to the shop. Hence, I don't know the models or how good they are till I have nearly bought one of them.
My experience with Voltas is bad but that might be down to setup issue but which brand or AC of 2.5 Tons would you guys recommend. I would like to wrap this as soon as Thursday.
