warranty is given by seller who sold me this, he didn't give a invoice however he said its based on serial number
That's a fake claim and sadly a scam.

This bare drive looks to be pulled out from a laptop/external drive enclosure and warranty is not provided for such drives by the drive manufacturer.

I believe all SN550's look bare and have no shroud or covering.

But as you said, warranty can only be claimed with a proper invoice.
I know this guy personally, either way NVME drives work for years under continuous load, either way new is 22k, https://www.amazon.in/Western-Digital-Blue-SN550-Internal/dp/B08K4NP5DQ I' am selling at a good price hopefully
You can never say there aren't any manufacturing defects. As for pricing, a brand new one costs 14.5k and you get 5 years of warranty. So unless you have an invoice, you may need to seriously revise the pricing.

@Dileep Nagesh and others

As mentioned by @enthusiast29, it's indeed a SN550E, which is different from the regular SN550. The module can be found inside several WD and SanDisk branded portable SSDs, hence it's pretty much clear the seller shucked this one.

Of course you can't get any official warranty for the item.
I was trying to google "Shucked".. thanks for the link.. I need to learn how to use the internet because I coudnt find anything when i was trying to find 550E

Also this seems like a Sandisk (owned by WD) branded drive SN550E
Serial no. lookup doesn't work for it: https://support-en.wd.com/app/warrantystatusweb
Usually oem drive either shows up or does not.
I bought few Sata ssds for cheap few yrs ago and all were pulled from some or the other servers but for few, the serial no. was not recognized by the system during warranty check & for rest it showed proper warranty etc even though they all were from same brand and procurement!
Till date all ssds are running fine though, been 3-4yrs. In fact one ssd is in my system right now as a boot drive.

Anyways, whoever wants to risk or buy will ask his call, its sellers and buyers wish!
