The integrated graphics is good enough for watching HD movies iirc- hopefully you will be adding a good graphics card later that should take care of your gaming requirements.

Choose a good PSU now depending on the card you may get later and the power/connector requirements then.

Also, looking at most of the tasks you require to do, core i3 should be a good choice, especially in terms of power consumption.

Intel core i3 530/540 - 5K approx

ASUS P7H55-M LX - 4K approx ASUSTeK Computer Inc.

(6x sideways SATA ports that won't get blocked by big gfx cards, DVI out for those who will use LCD monitor, ...)

2GB DDR3 1333MHz - 1.7K approx for Kingston, 2K? approx for Corsair

1TB Seagate 7200.12 - 2.8K approx

DVD Writer - 1K approx

Corsair CX400 - 2.5K-2.7K approx / VX450W - 3.5K-3.7K approx

CM Elite 310 - 1.6K approx / NZXT Gamma - 2.1K approx / CM Elite 430 - 2.8K approx

Total - 19.6K approx

+ 1 to rig apart from that only one minor input do not look at the Cooler Master Elite 310 or 430, the NZXT supports more fans, has a better airflow in cabinet :)

my suggestion -

AMD Athlon II x4 640 @ 5.2k
Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H @ 4.5k
G.Skill 2GB DDR3 1333MHz @ 2.3k
WD 500GB Blue @ 1.8k
LG 22X SATA DVD @ 0.9k
Corsair VX450W @ 3.7k
CM Elite 310 @ 1.5k

Total - 19.9k

640 is a good all rounder with great multitasking support and best vfm at that price. moreover Corsair VX450W will give you enough power to add any mid range card in future.
