26" LED from DUBAI - Suggestions and Procedure

2. Viewing distance - 8ft

3. Sources/inputs such as HD DTH/consoles/stand-alone media players etc - STB

4. Preference for plasma TV/LCD TV/LED-LCD TV - LED

5. Preference for brands - SONY or SAMSUNG only

7. Ambient lighting conditions of the room - normal


A friend of mine is coming back from DUBAI on 4th july and has agreed to bring a tv for me, need to choose the best and most economical led tv.

All I want is that from where to buy the TV in DUBAI ? How to evade the custom duty ? and all other conditions and procedure of bringing the TV here at the cheapest possible

I don't think that these will be having huge difference as you will loose warranty on these products and secondly the rupee has appreciated a lot. So check out in dinar terms before buying. And reg. custom duty, products upto Rs.25000/- are duty free and above that you will have to pay duty here in india.
