My uncle abroad sent me Desktop memory when I had asked for Laptop memory. This is the only reason why I want to sell the RAM.

Given that for AMD fans Socket AM2 has been a let down in terms of its onboard memory Controller, socket 939 remains the best choice even for new systems.
