did anyone notice this.. they have tried to give the 'kiran rao' look to Kareena.. or was that just me.. :ashamed:

i did not even mention any hollywood flicks :@ - and the god movies are not just from the two camps of hollywood and bollywood. There are far better movies in between.

Its fine - we go to see a movie for a good story - and its convincing portrayal. Casting is important - i do not expect Jack Nicholson to play the character of mask - so Aamir in that role was not convincing. Ofcourse anyone can experiment and have bitter rasogollas instead of sweet ones and say it was refreshing - then again some things are better left as they are. Aamir should act his age and media should act responsibly. My 0.02 rupees.
 
^^ Actually he looked in his late twenties pretty convincing for me, have you ever been to the IIT campus? some nerds are overweight, pre-mature balding etc.. they look like they are in their late thirties... :) in that perspective he was pretty convincing..

Then again people have different viewpoints, found the movie to be very entertaining, dont remember any last Bollywood flick where I wouldnt get bored, to the point of just leaving the god-damned hall :) Surprisingly no such feelings here...
 
^^^ ure absolutely right...I had guys in my mba class who looked like my uncles...and they were supposed to be in their early 20's.
 
^^With the tickets for this movie touching points beyond the blue sky, the record doesn't surprise me...much!
 
Saw the movie yesterday. For the first time in ages i have seen all the multiplex having so much crowd. Almost all the shows let it be Spice Cinemas,Big Cinemas or Waves were full here in Noida.

Thats why next movie to watch now is RGS RANN

We will learn how so many news channel came within a span of 10 years....as soon as aaj tak launched from its 30 mins daily news soap

Saw the movie ,nice story an all...
But what media is doing is as if its slum-dog millionaire ..which it isnt...

A typical raju movie with a message...

My words meant were it is being made to look like an oscar award winning one.....crazy all over.....

If u compare this with rajus earlier performance ill give half star more to laga raho...but this doesnt mean i take away the credit....Being an engineer i found lot of stuffs missing which we saw in mbbs.....but u cant get all stuff under 2.5hours ..i know

'cept this wasn't IIT, it was IEC :bleh:

I 'saw' Aamir as the 20 year-old he was purported out to be. No worries for me!

This movie was worth it's weight (also 'wait') in gold for me. 9/10 from me.

EDIT: Why'd they buy FPS' rights and not even incorporate 5% of the book into the movie? Beats me :P

Typical Raju Hirani, great mix of emotion and comedy. He is one of my fav directors now.
On the -ve side, found the mov to be a bit long and the whole baby being born scene was a bit boring
 
saw this movie today. It's a decent movie. But a must watch. :)

Looks like the only person who can consistently make watchable movies in Bollywood is Aamir :)
 
Yes he is indeed the Tom hanks of bollywood! 3 idiots is a good movie :)
