Video 32" Lcd Suggestion

Huzaaah! After dilly-dallying around for a long time, I finally grew some major cojones and bought the SONY BRAVIA KDL-42EX410 from Ebay. :yahoo:

It's a dealer warranty thing, so basically grey stock and I was willing to risk it on no other brand, but Sony. I know this isn't top of the line TV, but for me, this should be good enough for my basic movie and gaming needs. Finally will be able to play this stuff in full HD. :D

harry_houdini: Thank you! ;)

Sumit05: Trust me, I'm not a pic posting person at all. You'll never see any of my purchases being in the show-off or any other section. :p

But I saw your post and congrats on your Television purchase. Looks like we're all a part of the LED group now. :D

And yeah let us know about the USB playback experience. I am not sure about this but there was this Sony import which was able to play .mkv files properly.

Sure thing! Although, I'll be doing most of the playback from my Asus O'Play mini.

Update: Got my TV and it's absolutely gorgeous, not to mention, so HUGE! :hail:

Everything was packed and sent properly. Got charged 2.4k extra for the Octroi, motherf*ckers! :annoyed:

So albeit the long wait, watching the Television in action really made it worth the wait.

Just a few things off the bat; Great and vibrant picture quality. Sound is really poor. Video format support is a bit dodgy with a lot of videos coughing up a "audio format not supported" error. To combat the latter 2 points, I'm planning to get a decent set of speakers and I already have my trusty old Asus O'Play Mini. So yeah, looks like I'm set. :D
