availability of all 32nm chips will be very low as TSMC yields currently are quite low and hence prices in the start will be quite high

i suggest the op to do this and get the following config

1)2600k

2)z68 based asus vpro

3)8gb ram

4)a good case of op's choice

5)a good cooler, again of op's choice

6)a proper 850w psu by either seasonic or corsair

7)the monitors- i suggest the dell st22 series

8)a 120gb boot ssd

the GPU and HDD parts should wait up till 1q 2012 as prices will be a bit better and also the $ will stabilize, bringing the overall prices down again

^^ Actually the yields of all AMD graphics chips are slightly unstable in the initial quarter of production as they have a more solid pipeline for the design of the architecture rather than for the production, quite the opposite in nVidia's case where the pipeline is optimized for delivering more effective wafer dividends at earlier stages in production -- AnandTech - The RV870 Story: AMD Showing up to the Fight.

Hope it provides an interesting insight into the fight of the ultimate graphics provider.
