Hello everyone. A couple of months ago, I purchased a Bambu Labs A1 Mini and although I had a lot of fun in the first couple of weeks, I just don't have enough time/use cases so it ends up just sitting next to my desk.

If you're in (and around) Lucknow and would like to have something 3D printed, I can do it for you. I'll keep pricing simple and transparent. A 1KG spool of PLA costs ₹850 from Numakers, so 0.85rs per gram. Adding the rough costs of electricity, wear & tear, failed prints, and a small margin for my time, the final cost to the buyer comes out to 1.5rs per gram (for PLA). I am keeping minimum purchase value at 50rs to keep things manageable.

If you're wondering, how much material a print generally takes, it's not much at all. You can browse popular models here to get a sense of material usage: https://makerworld.com/en/3d-models

In short:
  1. Price: 1.5rs per gram
  2. My printer print anything with PLA, PETG, and TPU.
  3. The bed size is 180 x 180 x 180 mm³ (so anything less than that in size can be printed)
  4. You send me the 3D files and I can either print it according to your settings or with my own best settings.
  5. I can print in black, white, and slight off-white (apricot) white. (picture attached).
  6. I do not have AMS but can do basic multicolor prints by adding manual pauses/printing separately.
As for shipping, I can ship items PAN India but likely for only for larger orders to justify the additional overhead involved with shipping anything.

Otherwise, you can pick things up personally in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

I have never done something like this before so do let me know if I've missed any important information.

Great. I am a 3d printing noob. Can you have a look at UT4G-BK8 , vertical eGPU stand ? Do you know if printed, would it have the strength to withstand the weight of a gpu and a sfx psu (roughly 3-4 kgs in total) ?

Pretty sure pla, petg, abs wont handle it. Maybe something like PEEK? But that needs super fancy enclosed printers.

Hiya, I didn't find a model for that specific model but you should be able to find vertical stands for eGPUs pretty easily on online.

Simply search for what you're looking and add "3d model". Yeggi is an aggregator website that lists models from various models.

Regarding weight, PLA is strong (but brittle). While 3-5kg is nothing for a well-built model, PLA deforms at around 50-60°C. I would recommend PETG which can take much higher temps (people build ITX cases out of it).

-- UNRELATED to above post --

Hi guys, can we please send order-related queries directly to DM and keep this thread for more general inquiries (otherwise it'll get hard to navigate quickly and I'm sure people don't want to see the same post on their feed nonstop lol).

Thank you!

If there's any direct contact with the heatsink at max operating temp, yes definitely the print will probably deform. That said, I've seen plenty of people 3D print enclosures out of PETG on Reddit. As long as the model is well designed (and tested), it shouldn't be an issue

Perfect, just was in need of some 3dp keycaps. I will avail your service as am in the same city. Will send a DM later.

Funny you say that because I printed a keycap a couple of weeks ago as a test for a friend. Came out decent for default settings and a random model.

Do you offer modelling services as well for those of us who can't generate printer-ready files but can provide dimensional drawings?

I build a lot of speakers, and would like to know if you can print enclosures which I can use to prototype designs. The size seems fine for some smaller units I might need to build, and woodwork fixed cost is very high for this sort of a project.

You can PM me for more information if you can help. I work in Open Office drawing program, and can provide a dimensionally accurate PDF file (actual size).

I'm in Kolkata, and will compensate you for shipping. The 180mm limit is a bit of a bummer because one of my designs needs a 11" tall box, but I do have a design that is smaller and should fit your bed size just fine. Needless to say, the inside is hollow and there are gaping round holes in the front, which is a challenge for 3D printers at the best of times. I also believe there's a bunch of work required post-print to get the final output (I'm not sure of the exact details), so if you don't want the hassle it's cool.

Same question as @cranky. I'm not good at 3D modelling. But I would like to 3D print a toy dinosaur for my daughter. Does your services include 3D modelling and printing?

Ps: I happened to stumble upon https://www.printables.com . I think i should be able to find a Dinosaur from here and share the file to you. Will reach out over DM. Thanks for starting this service!

Sorry guys, as much as I would love to be able to help with this, I don't really get any time after work for this. I would need the final 3D model files to be able to print it. As @CeyeN said, there are probably plenty of models that would fit your needs (albeit after some minor tweaks).

@CeyeN Lots of cool stuff here as well: https://makerworld.com/en/search/models?keyword=dinosaur
