Are you planning on getting more colours in Matte PLA? Also is the pricing for MAtte PLA the same as PLA?

The colors I order are typically based on demand/order size/personal interest.

PLA Matte is slightly expensive, I may add a small charge (max 10%) but not always.

Thinking of getting of some shade of brown next in my next order. Happy to take recommendations.

Edit 1: Also, this doesn't affect my prices right now but Numakers increased the shipping prices. I paid 300rs for 3 spools on my last order. Not sure if they've increased it to 100rs per kg but just letting everyone know.

Edit 2: Completely unrelated but since this thread gets a lot of views, I thought I'd share: I am looking for a 3060 12GB card, ideally in warranty. If you have one or know someone who does, please DM me. Thank you :)

My haul with the @slippery 3D print service .

Got the following printed Katana holder and headphone holder from @slippery . He patiently suggested multiple alternatives for each and took the time to explain the different measurements to ensure the holders would be perfectly compatible. Great experience all around!

How do you measure the exact sizes for these 3d prints , am also confused as to how to measures things that aren't straight lines.

The dimension here is the distance between the U-hook and the straight hook that attaches to the pegboard. If this distance is too small compared to the gap between the vertical lines (holes) of the pegboard, the hook won't insert properly. However if the distance is too large, the hook may not fit securely and could feel loose. Also there was something about the width of the pegboard itself to properly fit the u-hook.

Huge -Rep to @slippery
Quite dissappointed.

Reason :
Working on a personal project. Need to go through multiple STLs for right tolerances.
Shared the 1st STL file to print to slippery. turned out to be very small part so costed 160+75 shipping.
He shipped it through DTDC.Got the part with a double thin bubble wrap.Luckily the part survived the shipping.
One side had slight tolerance issue.
Redesigned and sent the 2nd STL file for print. Again paid 235 for the part.
This time the package came in same used amazon grey plastic as outside layer and inside a tiny bubble wrapped 3d printed delicate part.
Got the part smashed as obv it was a snap fit case design and without proper packaging andwith upper pressure it will be smashed in.

Left him a message.
He asked for pictures of outer deformed/damaged packaging.
How can i show deformed plastic? without any proper protection its obvious it would get smashed.
He wastes couple days saying i am busy with prints will print yours next.
Got a message then asking for damaged part pics with timestamps for no reason.
I send him and ask for updates on the replacement print as i need to keep this project moving fast.
Got a sudden message today of him accusing me of damaging the 1st 3d print i got from him and asking a free replacement for the 2nd.
For a thing worth less then 250rs he concluded his own thing and accused me of such things.
Not for a single moment he tried to go through my account history on TE or such where i have given away stuff more than this and with positive reps from people all over TE.

Anyways attaching SS of entire convo from start to end so people can judge for themselves and let me know if i did anything wrong.
https://ibb.co/h1Mv1pRv
Never negotiated or hassled this guy anywhere in this entire deal and got this as result.
Anyways love for TE will remain same. <3 Peace out.

PS : Also please ping me if someone else doing 3d prints. Need for long term trades and with good trust. :)

Edited: A complete blunder on my part. Things have been sorted and a new part (better than ever) has been shipped to @GeeBee007.

Apologies for the disturbance to anyone following this thread.

Lmao this guy wants to get on for 235rs.
Mr sherlock holmes deduced everything by seeing Layer Lines. You also read peoples hand?
Why share just images? Share the entire convo like I did....You cant because you want to frame this story in yo way.
Dont think anything I will say will matter to people with cheap mentality.

@Crazy_Eddy Please share your two cents after looking at everything. Also everyone who dealt with me please feel free to share your thoughts about how i SCAMMED you by selling something at higher price.

Maybe off-topic, but i would like to chime in here, something i avoid doing.

1) As someone who both designs my own prints and has printed designs from other creators, tolerances very significantly from machine to machine. Good designers, factor in tolerances (the general accepted practice is to factor in 0.2mm-0.3mm tolerance throughout the parts deigns, especially for snap fit parts.)
1b) even for the parts i print for others (see my sale thread), i expect the design to have tolerances. in cases where i think the print will not come out well, i inform the buyer before printing, so that they can take a call.
2) factoring tolerance is not the responsibility of the printer / printing service. that must come from the designer. Hence its called prototyping.
3) At the same time, the packaging used for most filament spools is not the best. hell, ive received broken spools of filament myself. It would have probably been better to package the parts in a right-size cardboard box, with bubble wrap and some crushed newspaper to bear some transport load.
4) 2 walls and 15% infill are generally not adequte (unless you print with 0.3mm wall widths). my general settings are 4 walls, tops and bottoms, 40% gyroid infill.

I am not trying to blame either party, since i think both sides could take something away from this situation.

Edit: added point 4)
