3G data pack not applicable while roaming on Airtel

I am really pissed off with airtel since they dont allow free 3G data pack to be used on roaming. They are charging 30p/20 KB irrespective of data plan.

I guess even the users of other service vendors should check the same.

The expensive 3G is worth only if you can roam without hassles. I am currently on 2G. I dont pay anything extra for roaming.
 
that has changed now... its same for roaming now... no additional charges....

i have a Airtel LAPU card on which i am getting lots of messages from airtel about no additional 3g charges on roaming

But they have not updated the web site in that case. Just need to be sure.
 
^^True, nothing appreciable about MTNL 3G in Delhi :(

Other than that Airtel's flexi-shield seems to be good. Just hope that they allow roaming in 3G
 
Guess that nothing is better than prepaid for 3G. Atleast you know when you expire your limits. Flexishield is good for people with higher usage and budget.
