Entire family upgraded to new phones

First off, apologies for the long post. I am not a reseller. My entire family decided to upgrade in one go and thus I now have 4 devices left to offload.

All devices are in excellent condition physically and functionally. Everything is working on all devices from screen, camera, face id/touch id, microphone etc. All phones have been taken care off well and have been under spigen/esr cases + tempered glass for the entirety of their lives. No phone has any kind of lag or performance issues.

There are 3 iPhone X's and 1 iPhone 8 Plus.

Common details -
Color - Space Grey (yes, all devices are space grey color of their time)
Warranty - all are out of warranty.
What's included - iPhone, original charger, original cable, original box, spigen cover and spigen tempered glass
Date of purchase - iPhone X's were purchased in Jan 2018 while the 8 plus was purchased in Oct 2017.

Local buyers from NCR are first preference. I am really not inclined to ship these.

That would be a bit misleading to be honest. XR is a lower spec phone compared to X. At that point, you might as well consider 6s/7/8/SE
From a lower build quality, to a lower spec camera, a lower spec screen, the price of XR reflects that.

Yes but the CPU is not the only criteria for selecting a phone. The only place where the XR really shines in is the neural engine and for whatever purposes apps use it.

As if bigger is the only criteria. X has an HDR OLED screen with 1 million:1 contrast ratio vs XR's 1400:1 contrast ratio with an IPS non-HDR LCD. New XR for 33k is just 64GB. If that works for you, great but I'm selling 256GB too.

Again you could've done a bit of homework before writing that. I'm not sure how a dual wide + telephoto lens with dual OIS and optical zoom on the X is equivalent to a single wide lens with OIS without optical zoom on the XR. By that logic, all cameras on all iphones are equivalent. XR gets slightly more control in the portrait mode photos while X gets slightly more portrait lightning effects.

I've already stated that the price is negotiable. Cashify is already offering 25k for these phones, so the only reason for selling on TE and Olx is to get a higher value. If I am to get 25k for each phone, then I'd sell to cashify and be done with it.

There are both upsides and downsides to both the XR and X and their specs and price reflect that. I am not trying to oversell or undersell the X or the XR. Saying that XR is a far better than the X is an oxymoron for apple, a company which doesn't leave money on the table. If that were the case, then the XR wouldn't have launched at the price of 76,900 compared to the X's 92,900. Apple giveth and taketh in different ways.

You might have different criteria than me for deciding on which phone is better for you but authoritatively stating that XR is better than X is stretching the definition of the word better. If that were the case, then XS has no reason for its existence and the 11 Pro has no reason to exist in the face of 11.

Go and read his post again. He never said that the X has a better processor than the XR. Go and read the post you initially quoted or let me tell you that he said that X has a better build quality, camera and screen than the XR.
You called that post mis-leading when it is not. In the same post you mention that both have same cameras, which they don't and the difference has been then explained by the OP, which he shouldn't have to do because this is not a discussion thread, but a sale thread. Even the initial post asking him to reconsider his prices is not allowed according to the rules as all 'price suggestions' have to be made via PM.
Despite all the rule-breaking and unnecessary ruckus created in this thread about iPhone XR, which is not the phone he is selling, he has been very gracious in his replies. If I was looking for an iPhone X, I would've definitely purchased from him. And if you really wanna buy any of his phones, just make him an offer instead of wasting time in this thread. He has already said prices are negotiable, what else do you want.

Also, everyone knows iPhone XR was a crippled device launched at the lower spectrum and a lower price point instead of them continuing to offer the better X.

Ever wonder why the SE sells for 25k-28k frequently whereas XR never went below 30k. SE has the newer processor.


Also, one more thing, he has written price is negotiable. If you think price is too high, drop him a message and negotiate. What’s the point about processor etc etc. If the price is too high, the market will auto determine that and he wont be able to sell. Simple.

Thank you @rdst_1 and @icysmoke for the intervention. I was worried that this was going to devolve into another unwarranted discussion.

For everyone else, the price is high purely because after selling for 5 years on the second hand market in India, I've realized that we, Indians, really love to negotiate. If I'll write my target price, then people will still negotiate on that. You can check other iphone threads in TE where sellers are complaining the same.

This has also happened with me on TE before in previous sale threads. Thats why I have higher prices followed by the caveat that prices are negotiable.

I am EXPECTING a counter offer folks.
