Car & Bike 4 Channel amp choices

Hi

I am planning to put an amp and subwoofer in my ritz.

I have JBL 650C components in front and 265 in back.

To save boot space I would like to go with a 8" or 10" polk db subwoofer in a sealed box

I am not able to decide on amp, the choices being

1. JBL A-604 - 5.2K without bill, 6.7K with bill
2. Pioneer 6300 - 7.4K without bill
3. Kenwood M645 - 4.5K without bill
4. Open to other options

I dont play music at high volume and dont prefer booming bass

Please help me to make the right decision.

Hey Bobby,

Go for JBL 644 as 604 is officially discontinued by JBL india. I am also interested in same. Get a good price from your dealer and do let me know.

The JBL GT5 644 amp was offered for 6.4K after a 30% discount off MRP by one of the TE members. I am worried about 2 things with the JBL 644

1. The Sound Quality
2. The power to drive the subwoofer

What about the Kenwood KAC-M845 @ 6.5K ?

The JBL 1004 and Blau GTA 480 are out of my budget as both will 10K +

Is the Blau GTA 480 (6 months used) a good deal at 6.5K ?

Can you show us the link of the 30% off on MRP by TE member.

There is no issues with JBL 644 but i will suggest you to read some reviews by googling JBL 644.
 
jbl 644 has decent sq and good bridge for the woofer.

but it should not cost 6.4k, mumbai - without b&w is 5.2k.

where r u located ?
 
hi

I am from Cochin in Kerala.

I have decided on JBL GT5 S644 as the amp.

most of the shops here dont have S644 instead they have A604 which is the old model.
