40" LCD buying , help needed !

i m planning to buy a 40" lcd tv around the bodget 65~70k...

the models that come under the price range are ,

sony nx500 40"

sony ex400 40"

samsung 5/6 series 40"

i havnt looked into other options, wanted to get others suggestion on this !! ( panasonic ??? )

which would be better ??

please help me choose a model from the below shortlisted ones.....

many have said not to go with nx series due to glass reflection ,,, also ex500 seems a bit more than budget !!!! nyways ......... help me choose from other lg/sony/samsung models

I would say that the Samsung 5/6 series is the way to go! They have more features and a really good screen with an impressive contrast ratio and color separation.
 
go to qrs /sony world/g-mart,karamana and check the picture quality of sony nx500 40" & sony ex400 40" ....
 
I have Sony 40 EX400 ...It simply rocks!!

Samsung 5 n 6 series play bluray format as well I guess...So featurewise its bit better.
 
Me haz samsung series 6 but just bought the Ex 500 for my new home.it definitely is better- better colors and contrast.i'd recommend it.
Also, for 80k you can get a samsung led from grey market.

So the BX400 and the EX400/500/600/700 are essentially the same?

@OP: Sony 40EX500 or the Samsung LA40C650 - either of the two suits your budget. Visit a showroom, demo the panels and decide.

Btw those QRS e-prices seem bloated to me. A Samsung LA40C550 costs roughly 52~57k and is priced at 64, 290 INR there.
 
Apologies for hijacking the thread :)

I am too looking forward to buying a 32"/40" LCD in the month of November, around Diwali. Will be gifting it to the Sister. Which model would be the best VFM? Not a stickler for the features since Sister would hardly use them.
 
^ hey the QRS prices are same as the prices in sony/samsung site !!!

Samsung

LA40C650 65,000

LED

40C5000 70,000

6Series

40C6200 77,000 ( more than the budget , but can buy if this is really better than LCD models !!)

Sony

40EX500 69,900

40EX400 60,900

40NX500 64,900

which would be best ,,,, is 5 series LED better than LCD models under same price range?
