The TOXIC's attributes are more than just a flashy name, however. Pre-clocked to 675MHz core and 2,200MHz memory, a healthy increase over stock clocks of 625MHz/1,986MHz, the TOXIC benchmarks nearly 10 per cent higher than the el-cheapo '50s. That increase is facilitated by the bolting-on of an aftermarket ZALMAN heatsink that provides welcome relief from the whiny reference heatsink and its hunk of heatpipe-driven copper cooler keeps the underlying GPU some 16°C cooler.
But it comes at a premium. :(

Thats basically a Vf 900 on the GPU. Which makes it increadible value. This cooler alone costs over $40. So the premium you pay for the cooler + factory oc is not bad at all.

plus look at the oc results...core at 750mhz..same as the the 4870 ...should perform within 10% of the big brother..dats incredible VFM.

Wow, the card was running stable with memory OC at 2600 Mhz..
I think, Core clock can be OC to 800Mhz as we have seen from Supra's 4850..Price isn't bad at all..:hap2:
:D:
