0-10K 4G phone for reliance jio

Dad has Mi3, Mom has Redmi1S. How does the Redmi3S compare against the Mi3? else, should I go for RN3?

Usability POV: for parents, I would suggest the RN3. Larger & better screen. It has the option of larger sharper letters.

Redmi 3S prime is quite good, but stay away from Leeco 1S or Le 2 both phones are not that good in terms of its OS(EUI) and camera.
Resale value is also very less.

LYF Wind 1, even though both share the same processor and same amount of RAM, LYF wind 1 has better Camera, battery, resolution and bigger screen size.
Moreover there's a talk that LYF handsets may get free internet plan till 31st Dec 2017 if you don't remove and insert the SIM in other phones during the offer period.

Vivo would be better. Build quality is better. The interface is better than LYF. They have good service too.

Do not by Handset for JIO ......

Call very bad NEVER able to connect and if so not able to hear properly
Internet (in his words "Ye to 2 G hai... ,mera 3G is 'JIO 4G' se bhi fast tha") i.e. it's just like 2G
He keep the card as he spent Rs.100/- .....

Agreed no point in buying a handset for a specific operator. Nowadays all 4G phones are with VoLTE capability. Even FailTel was talking about VoLTE.
Jio speeds have crash landed. Hope it improves. With interconnect problems and abysmal data speeds i have serious doubts about people actually porting to Jio.
