5.5" Galaxy Note 2 Rumored For October Release

Samsung's Galaxy Note was highly successful with over 7 million sales worldwide . Now latest rumor says that Samsung will release the successor Galaxy Note 2 in October 2012 .

According to Ubuntulife , the Note 2 is expected to have a larger 5.5 inch display with WSXGA+ ( 1680x1050 ) resolution and 360 ppi .

It is also said that the design will be inspired from Galaxy S III so it will include technologies like S Beam, S Voice, NFC, SmartStay and others.

Also rumored is Exynos 5250 processor which is built on latest ARM Cortex-A15 CPU processor architecture , 1.5GB of RAM , improved lens 8MP camera sensor and 4G LTE connectivity .

However , the release date and specs are not confirmed .

If the S III is priced at 43k (official MRP) then I think what @rite said is indeed possible.

@hellgate the S3 is available for 38k as some have alreary bought it. There is a huge chance that the mobile phone market will stay below 40k and let iPhone be the king of atleast the cost.

I said about the official MRP not the street price of the phone.

LOL, kid yourself.

And let me guarantee you one thing, that if $ stays above Rs.53, then iPhone 5 will launch in India around Rs.48-54k approx. For the base model.

If $ is around late 40s, Iphone 5 will still be in the late 40s for the base model.

I am talking of MRP, which in case of Iphone will be the average street price.

And don't expect Note to be much cheaper than the Iphone 5 if at all.
 
Alright @rite, an update for you. I am getting the Galaxy Note 2 for 34k in about 2 weeks. Any blatant claims from you now that I should be aware of?
