Best of luck. :thumb:

Is there any yearly subscription, like say 5000 rupees and all you can play for 1 year.
Yea, this is an excellent idea. 100 Rs an hour is too much, even for a high end gaming system. The all you can play subscription sounds like a good idea.

would not mind paying 100 bucks to experience high end gaming the way its meant to be played, :p
I am no pro gamer It was ok experience.. Playing Cs in 3D was "bakwas"(i ended up seeing 2 cross-hair and spraying bullets a lot), but Dirt 2/Dirt i dont knw which one-but the it was really awsome- true 3D feeling..

I have to say this post is a advert or not. but if such places are not availble then it would be difficult for one to make desicion to buy a 3d gaming setup or not.. for instance if there was a lot of hype abt this setup and if my friend ,who is crazy abt 3D gaming, had bought it would have been very disappointed.. He was the one who forced me go along and try it..

Mate , 3D Troubleshooting 101 - Always check if the glasses are switched on / Check if the IR Emitter is switched on - Else you ARE going to see dual/triple/distorted images :| Its is pretty intense , and a bit of a PITA , as its a bit uncomfortable over a long period of time ...

Advertisement or not , 50% off is not a gimmick , went to AW personally availed the offer (although it wasnt the first time for me :P ) had a chat with kushal (kootikan) - Great Place, bloody heaven for me ...Also a comfortable walk away from my house making it even better ...

i guess many ppl on TE have better PCs and hardware at home than his gaming cafe might have.

guys this is just advertising

and going to gaming cafes is bad its kind of addictive :@

dont make TE bad:@
What the ______ ? 24GB DDR3 RAM , i7-980 , 5870 x2 CFx is not everyday hardware , alteast in the country I live :P :|

there's one problem though. how do guys show their TE id? we don't have id cards here. No forum gives id cards most probably. :P
I just wrote in their register , Was told to write in the user name along with entry time , phone number and name - as is mandatory in all i-net cafes...

There is this membership option available although not u/l gaming @ 5k :P

500 Rupees - 5 Hours gaming - You get a membership card of sorts , which you have to swipe in - more like those old sify online cafe styled except for this computer is far better :D

I'd say its a pretty awesome experience , Mind blowing actually

Atlast - Thanks to Mr. Kushal to have shown me the place around , this time the way it was meant to be , not like my first visit to the AW Cafe :P

I dont know if this should be qualified under advert or not but atleast guys lets give the OP some credit for having the guts to open a High End Gaming Cafe. The rates may be sky high but so is the investment involved. I for one would have loved to experience the same even though I dont game much and the 50% off thingy is definitely attractive to me. I hope this offer is there till the time I come back home and visit Bangy :)

@RD274: I would have loved to address you as an English Nazi but I think you need to work some more on your punctuations for that.

It was just being a grammar troll :P

For all the flaming at the OP calling it an AD, well would it have made any difference if he had registered as a trader and said "IC - Alienware gaming cafe in Bangalore - visit and pay Rs.100 per hour at the cafe. You can buy a monthly/Weekly/Daily package by transferring cash to my account through - Paypal, NEFT, Money Order, DD or Walk in and pay cash tooooo." <--- May be this wouldnt look like an ad then eh?

What do IC and preorder threads do anyway?? Oh wait, thats checking if you are interested and not advertising a product that is yet to arrive in the market.

For the rest who wanna know more - The place has brilliant ambience, the most comfortable chairs I have ever seen in a gaming cafe, pro keyboards and mice (I had trouble with them cuz I am not used to them). The machines were L337.

I dont agree with the point that its the first gaming cafe to introduce 3D gaming though. Another renowned brand name had already setup a few machines with 3D monitors about 6 - 10 months before AW. But yes these 3D displays are better.

Is it affordable at Rs.100? well not for a no lifer who spends 12 hours from dawn to dusk but for a casual gamer to unwind with a bunch of friends for a few hours - YES

Well with the 50 bucks off the first hour, I should visit the place again cuz I had to leave in a hurry the last time.

One thing though, when you walk in - WATCH YOUR STEP cuz the floor is a good 4 inches below the doorway. I kept gaping at the setup and almost fell face first. You have been warned.

Even i thought the same must be hardware prob.. but the experience was the same for 4 others friends too.. so at least IMO it was boring for CS..
