I bought a new PC last week with the CPU+mobo combination of AMD PHENOM II X2 550 BE and ASUS M3A78-EM. 500 GB seagate HDD. 4GB Transcend Ram
when i try to install XP 32 bit(SP2), while partitioning, it shows 128 GB instead of 500 GB. i tried several ways. but it didnot work. when i install Win server2003 Enterprise edition, it shows 500GB and it installed.
But many of the drivers in mobo dvd, is for XP/Vista. could any help me out on this. i could not figure out the problem.
Is this motherboard and processor is a good combination?
how could i able to install the XP / vista now(after formatting server 2003 which i installed now)?
