Hi,

I want to buy 1 stick of 512mb DDR Ram for my 11 year old P4 pc running on 2.3 Ghz P4 processor, Intel 845GBV Mobo & 256mb Ram :(

Here are pics of CPU Z for more info:

Thanks

PS: I have tried 400Mhz DDR ram, but mobo doesn't even recognise it. So only 133 Mhz rams will be entertained.

Intel 845GBV motherboard should support DDR 266/333 Mhz and with exception 400Mhz(Run@333)

DDR= Double data rate, 133 MHz in CPUz= 266MHz effective in system.

I have those following:

RAM: DDR 1GB + 512 MB(400 MHz)+2*512 MB(333 MHz).

if you want any one of this I can upload pictures & price.

just an opinion :

whoever provides old RAM, should provide a testing warranty of at least 5 days

so that buyer can test it with ease AND can return if not working / incompatible

{ of course, shipping charges to be paid by the buyer }

I have a stick, not sure about size. Think its 128/256 MB. Have not been using it at all, if you want it, just pay shipping, stick is free ;)
