Graphic Cards 5804 3D Mark 05 score

Heheheh.

its not so simple to supply something to a MNC.
rules, policies, support, documentation, meetings, budget, plans, presentations, approval and hell lot of things are there.

bye the time you do all this to sell something to a MNC you wont be in a condition to play something on your dream rig.

now a days i hardly play any game on my machine. since i came to tokyo i had played AOE only twice. no other game.

Well i have removed the drivers, OS and installed it on Non RAID disk.
installed fresh drivers from ATI web site.
disabled firewall.
disabled Antivirus.
disabled many unwanted services.
Page file - 512 MB

after all this just look at my score -

3D Mark 03 - 10987
3D Mark 05 - 5812.... :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@ :@

very much disturbed with the score.
even i was very much happy about multitasking but when i ran the stress test like many applications and then video encoding then

with only outlook and 5 mails with some images my system took almost 7 seconds to lanuch the application. :O :O :O :O

i think now i must join AMD club. :hap2:
now onwards not only i will buy AMD for myself but also force others not to buy Intel.

Guys welcome me in AMD family.......... :D

See, with that proccy, you have done the best..... you must be happy with that.

When you buy your AMD rig with an X850XT PE, you should get at least6K on stock speeds.

When you oc your CPU and graphics card, you can definitely go to 6.5K

Looks like you learned the lesson, the hard way.Anyways...its better late than never. ;)

Buy only AMD ,no matter what your aim/budget is.U can assemble a dirt cheap Palermo Sempron 2600+ and nf3 250 rig and oc it to 2.5ghz at which it beats the P4 3.4ghz EE and is within striking distance of the FX-55(info from xbitlabs.com).If u wanna spend big bucks get the FX-57/NF4 SLI straight away. For something in-between these two,a Venice 3000+ and NF4 ultra do the trick.I don't see where Intel comes into the picture at all. ;)
Two years back I bought my 2000+ AXP for less than the price of the P-4 1.5ghz in those days. Its still going strong @9.5x217 on my A7N8X-X,easily keeping pace with P4 2.6 "C" in most benchmarks.Thats VFM.

Install the OS on Raid drives.

Tweaking your Ram + cpu (if dell's bios allows it),+ Gfx Card will certainly get you better scores.

and for a stock intel m/c ur scores are pretty "normal".

as deejay said. do those things.

install os & softwares on raid. no need to remove it as it owns.

u got no worries of raid crashing if u got a good psu & u dont keep removing your hdds. have never seen raid crash if the above 2 things i mentioned are taken care off.

3d mark 2005 is more graphic dependent I guess. check xbitlabs, the 1900xtx got around 10k and mine got 9k+, I am tlaking of 10X7 I think, no aa and af, mine were default but theres were maxed other than that probably

i am not very much clear why this thread is again in picture but yes there is update from side as well.

i have upgraded my pc from 2.4c to 3 GHz dual core. but my GFX card is 6600GT so there wont be much improvement in score. it was only 3291.

will overclock card and cpu and let u know the score..
current config you can read in my sig.

btw very happy with performance of VMware. i could run 7 operating systems at same time(2 windows 2003 servers, 4 XP clients, 1 linux).

but i think there is some heat issue. my 2.4c use to run 32 normal and max i have seen is 43 (load) - this my cabinet crappy indicator shows. i dont know exact figures but on same cabbi now my Pentium D shows 39 when it starts and while running 05 it went way up to 49. (within 5 min time).

let me overclock the system and check the difference.
Is there any software which can monitor exact details. i know few but they support only 675 onwards chipset. mine is 865P chipset. do let me know if this is possible.
