Could someone suggest a value for money (from 5G point of view only) to be used as hotspot atleast 3-4 hours every day? OS updates, battery backup, screen or device speed not a concern as long as it can support good 5G speeds.

There are few options at around 8-10k I believe, but not sure which one might support highest speeds with 5G and also might be better built comparatively. Please advise.

Thanks in advance!

Go into offline shop and ask if they selling second hand 5g phone
Will try this. Usually I try to avoid retail shops for phones and similar devices, since usually get quoted higher prices and I am a bad bargainer.
Do let me know 5G performance-wise if any phone does better than the rest, will ask for the same as well.

low chance you will get good no issue phone from offline sellers, at least my experience with offline sellers for used/second hand goods are not much appreciated.

Just to note that this supports Jio 5G only as of now.
I specifically suggested because in article they wrote-
It’s worth noting that Xiaomi offers two similar phones – the Redmi A4 5G (review) and the Poco C75 5G – which are slightly cheaper and visually similar to the Redmi 14C 5G. However, unlike the Redmi 14C, which supports both SA and NSA 5G networks, the other two variants support only SA 5G and are currently compatible only with Jio’s 5G network.

Such a paid article smh.

My bad. I have been on the lookout for a new sub 10k 5G backup phone and confused it with the recently launched A4 5g.

I have Moto g71 and it works really great. I have seen 70Mbps on my laptop with it as hotspot. There are cheaper version available from Moti, with same chipset but with less memory and other specs.

how long are you using MOTI as hotspot and how many hours per day.
Hotspot connected for long or for short periods?
Is MOTI battery didn't get swollen with constant use?

I would say a lot. I keep it outside my house on my bike, because I have better speed their and I have sometimes put it out for more than 10 hours at times. It's been more than a year of rough usage and the device still works as well as a brand new. I get additional 1.5 to 2 hours of battery life if I turn on the battery saver, which basically kills most the background processes, and put some chips of the processor on sleep.

What is MOTI?
