5net problem

Hi friends ,

am using 5net since over a year now , inspite of having repeated problems I was managing with them because of the LAN they provide .

But now after only over 25 days of renewal , my LAN speed has been purposely reduced to nothing ( 1 kbps ) can you imagine on LAN ?.

Also my youtube isnt buffering at all !! , it takes hours to buffer some video .

In my plan the youtube video caching was also there but even it is not working .

I am from khanda colony in new panvel , navi mumbai .

The franchisee holder of fivenet here is SSV technologies .

Inspite of repeated complaints nothing is happening . They sent an engineer once who bluntly said " sir aap office mein aake bole isliye mujhe zabarzasti bheja , mujhe toh nahi ata yeh sab , sirf wire lagata hun " , then the manager also said he doesnt know how to troubleshoot the problem .

The main office of SSV technologies in Vashi is also not really helping out with the matter .

What they do is everytime they just inform the local branch of the matter .

This is an endless loop . Am really tired of this .

But am not able to find out any e-mail or phone number of any higher up or any influential person who can help me out .

So friends , if you can help me out in anyway , please do so . I will be highly thankful to you .

There is nothing you can do, IMO. Even my friend here has stopped complaining [After 2GB download from DC, connection gets terminated]

This is not a problem , its an anti downloading technique used by 5net but its not much of a problem .

My Dc isnt working at all ! .

One of the most pathetic replies I got from the 5net office numbers is that they are not responsible or even interested in solving my problem . The local franchisee which is SSV TECHNOLOGIES in Vashi who are incharge and they should solve the problem.

To cut down a long talk short , what he was saying is if suddenly the burger in McDonalds isnt according to taste standards or some service center of Toyota isnt able to solve your problem if the problem of the franchisee and you , how is McDonalds or Toyota in anyway related .

Absolutely pathetic tone of talking .

I dnt know what to do next

Anti downloading technique? Sheesh. Guess they dont understand that if they disconnect, even those uploading from the same user will have trouble.

Yes , anti downloading technique !! and its not just dowloading , its downloading + uploading . Some users have over 2 mbps connections so they use torrents ,but they do share on the hub . Even they complain that am sharing , am uploading and not dowloading and getting disconnected .

Not only this , the DC++ gets connected back in 3 mins automatically if the net connection is on .

You can check from your friend , they also keep cutting off the internet in between , if by mistake it did not reconnect .

Then whole night his pc will be on for no reason !! .

This business strategy used by firms in INDIA su**s . Once the product is sold , you should not complain to them , you are on your own . Have to fight for everything !!

to check if you are getting normal download speed on 5 net dc .. download any files from ASIAN ADULT .. ADULTMAN etc etc and other bots ..

if you get speed around 3-4 mbps .. thrs no problem with your connection ..

if you get very less speed from them .. thrs a problem with your connection

and regarding buffering on youtube .. whats your net speed ??

SSV people dont know anything about dc ..

i was the 1st to get "5net DC" in Navi mumbai .. even vashi guys didnt know anything about it .. they gave me sion head office number and said .. tum hi bat karlo LOL tht was about 2 years ago ..

Nopes I was not getting speeds from any users , movieman or high definition and the ones you mentioned . There are the awesome 5 net bots I download from . I like hd movies , big fan , sorry for OT .

Talked to 5net office today . They said they no longer handle DC . It is in control of local guys only .

You got the number of the sion HO you mentioned . Would be really helpful for me in the future .

edit : my netspeed is 256 kbps ,

It doesnt matter for youtube buffering because 5net caches most youtube videos , So even if you are on minimum which is 256 kbps speed on 5net , it will buffer super fast .

Thats one of the best things of 5net and really helpful for me as I see a low of reviews n tv shows on youtube .
 
^ sorry i dont have their no now coz i talked to them more than 2 years ago and changed lot of sim

and about buffering .. yup "MOST" of the videos dont buffer on 5 net (even on 256kbps) but sometimes .. dont know why if the speed of net is low ie 256 kbps .. every video buffers

and on dc you wont get speed in mbps from everyone .. the max speed you'll get is around 10 mbps that too if they are in your area .. if you are getting 3-4 mbps from the bots on dc everything is fine ... with some users you wont be able to connect

Yes I know friend , I am not expecting that hi-fi speed all the time . Even if I get consistently 2 mbps am fine with it .

I was getting like 1 kbps max with mostly 500-600 bytes/sec . Now thats utterly unacceptable .

The dumb thing is mostly there are only basic technicians in every office who can only put up wires and stuff .

I think they should train a person from each branch with some added knowledge , technicality , etc .

The problem with 5net is that they have a good product but they lack in service .
 
Well, if SSV is charging you line maintenance, it is their freaking job to fix any of your issues. If they can't, simply ask for a refund! Morons!! Luckily for folks in Ghatkopar, the local franchisee is not bad! I hardly had issues with connection, but whenever I had, they were quick in resolving them!

dude the ADMIN aka mR.Activate is PURE BOT !!!

you know earlier there was ynhub .. the he statrted hosting via ptokax ..

for settings he was calling me and Guitarider from navi mumbai to SION LOL

ill tell u 1 interesting story

well once i jokingly abused a user .. no1 knew who was the ADMIN then .. he banned me permanently .. well if i was noob .. i could never enter the hub .. i connected again nad asked him why .. he got so serious .. he called up my local isp ie SSV bots .. and asked them to give back my remaining months money .. he also told them to remove my lan wire LOL ..

so i got 24online and i got back on dc within hours of being banned from 5net hahah im still there on DC

Yeah I fought the lot whole day and in the end they had to solve it . I just did not let them go

I guess either they changed some setting by mistake or purposely . Cant blame them totally , local office's noobs arent less mischievous .

Once they cut my wire by mistake and were claiming their rival provider did it , lolz but there is not rival here man .

What can I say !! . And now he was saying you need to change the whole wire , pay me Rs 300 or your problem wont be solved .

Isnt it shameless ? . First they create a problem and them shamelessly asked me to pay for their stupidity .

I put up the same argument that pay my money back but they dint really seem bothered .

Its like " so you wanna fight huh , am all ready " , but I kept protesting as calmly as I could and it solved it .

And yeah about the joke , well not everyone can take the joke the same way . Like me , my friends dont hesitate in commenting or passing a joke on me but there is a another guy who wont even tolerate you calling him dumb### donkey etc or some casual leg pulling .

Am having this recurrent problem like some kind of recurrent allergy or something .

I am really tired now , somehow controlled my anger , feel like punching the local manager . Its go on my nerves now !! .

They always pretend to have a hardware problem somewhere but its not possible , its a software thingy and they do it on purpose .

Can anyone help or show me some different way of dealing with this , am really fuming in anger over the guys .

[font=arial, sans-serif]1st you try downloading a major file from the bots .. if you keep getting 3-4 mbps constant speed .. thrs no problem at all [/font]

[font=arial, sans-serif]possibility of various issues .. your lan wire could be faulty .. is it too old ?? ... in majority of the cases the jack of rj45 may be lose so just check the jack and check if the wires are proper or not ( i guess u wdnt know how to figure if the jack is proper or not) .. there are slots in jack there are total of 4 wires make sure all wires touch the tip/ end of the jack and always make sure that the a bit of black plastic outer cover should always be inside the jack ... check at both ends ie on the pc end and on the router end .. just tell the 5net guy to change the jacks at both ends .. else borrow a crimper from a friend buy rj45 jacks from any h/w shop cut your pc jack notice the sequence and then you do it yourself

[font=arial, sans-serif]next the port in the router in which ur jack is placed maybe faulty .. just go to the terrace and change the port .. it helped me several times ... you know there is a problem in router when .. electricity goes in your area and after it comes .. sometimes your lan connectivity will be limited !!![/font]

[font=arial, sans-serif]if you are getting 3-4 mbps speed .. everythings working fine !!! you wont get mbps from every user [/font]
