I recently subscribed to FiveNet via SSV Tech in Navi Mumbai. I've a PPPoE connection. There is a weird issue which I am facing, and wanted to confirm if anyone has been troubled by the same and what they did to solve it.
The CAT5 cable from SSV is an input to my WiFi Router.
After using internet for sometime, if I switch-off and switch-on the router I am unable to login. Testing the line by dialing it from PC, gives 629 and 659 errors.
Its only after I call SSV and they do some MAC reset, the connection starts.
Any idea, why this might be occurring ?

yea you cant for few mins .. like ...
when we download from dc in 5net after 2gb(approx) the net disconnects and whne you try to login immediately it doesnt happen .. sometimes you have to try 3-4 times then we log in.
in 24online ssv .. if you are using internet and suddenly light goes off and your pc shuts down .. after 2 mins light comes and you restart your pc and try to login .. IT GIVES A ERROR and you can still use the net without logging in ..but after 5-10 mins the net disconnects and only then you have to login...
earlier i wen to ssv (which is in adjacent bldg) for this problem .. a friend of mine (at ssv) said to the main office ..
"Ye Username ka MAC ID RESET kar"
