no luck in Pune - inspite of Palki and Bharat Bandh (which is a complete failure) - reached office by 8:35 AM which is normal time for me. 34 kms in 45 mins shesh !!! All that buzz about Bharat Bandh - wish I was in Kolkata - would have enjoyed kichdi with ghee :-)
 
Pune report: Shops closed, buses not running. Except the bus and the auto traffic, no of vehicles on the road the same. Reached my office (10 kms away) in 15 mins. Takes me around 30-45 mins everyday. :|
 
Ok so i guess Pune is still On and my office too will be. Just that people travelling from Mumbai to Pune wont have been to office which even includes me :D

Reached Hinjewadi in 20 mins flat that usually takes me 40 mins everyday... Sitting at office and preparing audit reports :|
 
MNS & SS people around, had to come back home, not letting my bike pass, deflated the Tyre, few dogs have managed to reach office to wag their tail though :P
 
Couldn't go to Pune as Shivneri Volvo was cancelled...also had problems finding a rickshaw to reach the bus stop and come back home

Same like me buddy... I contacted the MSRTC / Shivneri Borivali office yesterday and they told the Volvo's will be running but as you are saying they are not. Neeta volvo too told they wont run their buses. Not taking my bike out (not to Pune just some here and there) for the fear of tyre deflating :)
 
Everything is closed here. I live in relatively peaceful area with very little traffic noise. Still this feels like 12 AM. BEST buses not running, no Cabs, no ricks, nothing on road. This is reminding me of my childhood Bandhs. Haven't seen successful bandhs in Mumbai for years.
