Laptops 60k

IMO a compact 14-15" (under 3kg)serves dual purpose:
portability and multimedia experience( as in gaming and movies)...cos a 12" is not fit for movies or games by any means....this was just a personal view..so no flames intended
so can have a look at the new range of multimedia lappy's from HP....i have used a 15" one and it is quite light and good looking;)

Hey, check out the Sony Vaio C series at SonyWorld. Is being advertised a bit on TOI of late too, and at 59,900 is a good deal. 13.3 inch, core2duo 1.6, 80gb, 2.3kg, available in lots of colours only drawback is only 512mb ram. they have a 1gb version with nVIDIA Geforce 7400 for 70K. I looked at it recently, its quite nice and light and has a sexy laptop bag. Also Asus A8F/J if available in India are worth considering.

12"er is what you call a laptop.. 15/17 is nothing more than a desktop replacement...

what, you guys still live in the 16th century with 15/17" screens ?. nowadays anything lessthan 20" isn't even considered desktop :ohyeah: :bleh:
