^ Its only for US customers, so unless you have a relative in the US, I don't think you will be able to get the rebate. The process is not really guaranteed for US customers too!

Yes. Someone is buying from USA. why the rebate is not guranteed? is this SSD rebate a scam? :o
pratikb: Yes, it is a Intel retail SSD which will be purchased.

^ Not a SCAM, but it will take 4-6 weeks to be processed and people say some rebates never come etc. If you have someone in the US, then its fine.

Maybe @raksrules will have more info about it.

Rebates are bit hit and miss many a times. Most reputed companies do give but you need to first assess whether the rebate is worth it.
I have done couple of rebates and they have come fine.
But yes you can say rebates is for US customers or precisely resident of USA.
The companies usually send out rebate cheque in normal USPS mail.

Regarding the rebate mentioned here, the person availing the rebate will get a prepaid visa card with 60$ loaded into it which can be used anywhere as normal debit card. But it says 29/5 as last date so i am not sure if someone sends to rebate form now, it will surely reach intel before 29 and also many a times these companies claim things like form was lost or never reached or reached late etc etc.
It is better to do rebates only if you are residing in USA so you can inquire with the company if you do not get rebate and also most importantly you will need a local address to send the rebate cheque or in this case prepaid card to be sent to.
