How low is your budget?
Doesn't make sense to get inferior used SSDs, e.g. the Kingstons and old-gen ones with the SandForce controllers!

As for good ones like the Crucials, Plextors, Samsungs, it's rare to find used ones on sale and that too with any sort of warranty!
Better you get a new 64 gig one from any of the above makers.

@eternoMind my budget is 2k max. I am too looking for uber performance just want to get a ssd as my OS drive, so that my system performance will improve.

Not a good investment that 2K will be!

The concerns and issues with cheap SSDs are well-known. Since SSDs are expensive, it's important that you get one that serves you well and for a decent period of time. I was looking for something similar but didn't find a deal for good used SSDs anywhere. So decided to bump up the budget and get a new 64 gig one.
