I don't design hdds. Let seagate/wd worry about that I just want a small and cheap super fast hdd that I can put in raid-0 for the OS.

That's fantastic news. They didn't have any 12 series on 12th Feb when I bought a TB. Must have acquired them recently.

UPDATE: 7200.12 500Gbs have now surfaced in Mumbai's Lammy Rd. Available right from 3k (small shops) to 3.4k (prime )
