Laptops 720p videos on netbook

well i hve connected my netbook to LCD TV through vga port. so wanna watch movies on LCD not netbook.

WOW man u made my day. i just downloaded kmplayer and 720p videos play fine n smooth . Strange how a player can hve such an impact, unbelievable.
 
is VGA Good enuff for 720 &1080P videos to be seen from a Netbook on a Big 42-50"LCD Full HD TV???
I was just waiting for someNetbook with HDMI for doing Full HD movies on a FullHD TV

I thought Without HDMI connection(or atleast a DVI), videos tend to be crappy on BIG size TV's as aforesaid !

clarify the point guys!!!
(i am to decide between a Full HD playing Netbook or the Xstreamer, this festive season)

Most of the newer netbooks are coming with the nvidia ion technology which supports HD playback, so if you only need something to playback HD content then Xstreamer is good, but if you also need some browsing and computing needs, then watch out for the netbooks soon to be launched.
 
I dont have much money this time, this has either to be a Netbook or the Xstreamer
Now Ion based netbook mayplay Full HD stuff on its tiny default screen..but that not the question here....what about the output of the same to a BIG 42-50" TV display,...through which port will be these sort of netbook out the videos to the TV.. will it be through VGA only or will these b coming out with HDMI port too???(Most Important for retaining the pristine Full HD Video Quality & also for doing HDCP content too...)..which does make HDMI most imperative in these scenerios!!!

* I am more inclined toward a netbbok rather than the Xstreamer, coz as of now,i dont own a lappy..& i would prefer mobility of PC usage of the netbook!

So guys have any idea, what the next forthcoming Netbboks are coming up with HDMI ..& which brands or models in particular?
 
on my netbook, i am using core avc and mpc .... few 720 videos/movies works fine, some lags
 
I managed to get 720p videos play via kmplayer But in most of the 720 P VIDEOS sound n videos are not synchronized. So any way to fix it up.

try increasing the priority of the resources of your application via task manager. change it from normal to high.

try using coreavc too, its one of the great codecs available for x264 and other codecs.
 
use anandtech guide to config ion platform (with media player classic)

techtree also has the same stuff copied from anandtech

for indepth settings refer guru3d or bit-tech.net (don't remember which one)

i hve downloaded COREAVC still there is no synchronization. And also tried increasing the priority to HIGH.
Still 720p videos isnt tht smooth i mean a drop of frame here and there, so that may b the reason sound and video are not synchronized properly?
 
well i hve installed KMPlayer and it works better than other players. But synchronization is nt there. how to use in performance mode?
 
in the start menu, there will be option for KMP Setup Wizard. In the first screen, there will be option to select performance mode.
 
Well tried everything still video and sound are out of sync. Its only with 720p mkv files, 720pWMV , MOV plays fine.
