XFX can just about cover manufacturing costs with that price...probably not even that...

But yeah, that guy got his shop sprayed all over TE...

Its either typo or cheap publicity.
 
i talked to the customer rep, he says it will be in stock in 2-3 days and i asked him to confirm the price - he said its as mentioned on website :P he also said that price changes everyday so when it comes in stock price may not be same!
 
^this clearly shows it was some cheap publicity stunt or maybe a genuine mistake but it aint gonna be repeated.
 
Even i called them up at 9:15 am outta stock, i guess they have realized the pricing error as they might be getting hundreds of calls for a particular cat no. 100099169. see even i remember the number.......

i called them 3 times

each time i was told stock was out but wait time was completely off

1 said 1week
2nd said Dunno
3rd said 2 weeks

here i am seeing ppl getting some diff replies altogether

i just went there and he told me this is available @ "Hypercity ARGOS" which is @ Vashi n Thane , i placed an order verbally with him for 10 cards ,

locally only 5200 n 6200s ravailable lol , he said he will deliver it here for me n lemme know by 2day or 2morro max

so its 50:50 chance , maybe any of the thane,vashi guys can confirm ?

yeah i had gone to the shop..and they got the new stock just 30 mins back ..i bought all ten 8600GTS fro Rs.16900 ..so no more left with them..if any one needs them contact me RS. 5000 each ..:hap2: :hap2:
actually ...err err .all of the above was just my imagination some thing that i was thinking of .ah ah ha ha .:rofl: :rofl: i dont have anything..lolz.

hope no one is hurt by dis joke ..actually i still not able to believe that they r giving it for 1699..:P was gettin bored ..in the afternoon time ..so posted the above crap ..to give a heart attack ..to some members..:tongue:

lolz:rofl:i can do that..i live in Nerul ..and vashi is da place wherei hang around everyday..will even go der today evening to get a cover for my ipod nano ..or get it laminated.

but the problem is ..i dont know where is the Hyper City mall in Vashi !!

can someone please post the exact address ?i will surely check it out and get all of them..:bleh:
 
Hope its true. :):) Anyway their website looks completely awkward if you open it in Firefox. In IE its fine. lol
 
well.........

hypercity argos has no branch in Vashi Navi Mumbai !

its only in thane .......

i had a talk with the person who has the authority... he confirmed it to be a TYPO and the correct prices will be updated soon as they get the stock !

he still said he will give prices on PAR with Lamington Distri`s.... lets see what he gives
