9.5mm slot load DVD Writer generally retails for Rs2500 outside india, original parts from service centre are even costlier.
Check attachment for specs

  • Time of Purchase: Replaced 3 days back by HP Service with new one. The engineer told me it is a new one when i asked if it was a refurbished drive



  • Indian warranty valid/Remaining Warranty period: No . Tested by reading and writing DVD

specs in the second last attachment , its dvd-ram drive . I am not sure about the lightscribe support
