HI,

i recently met a fellow from youtele(iqara v2) and he was saying that youtele offers 96 kbps (kilobits) dedicated line, which, in his opinion , is much faster than the sify 256 kbps line which is shared. Whne asked abt the connection, he said that youtele offers RJ6 cables+dedicated modem and as the line is dedicated, it is better than shared 256 kbps. He said it was good enough to be shared over 3 PCs.

Now, i have just one question-: 96 kbps means 12 KBps download speed, then how is it better than 256 kbps which gives 32 KBps instead?

hi, one of my friends has that iqara dedicated 96 lines
man it blows

.. its not even half as good as my 256 airtel unlimited(4 shared)

my friend has 128 airtel..even thats much faster than 96 dedicated...wait for sometime..bsnl is launching 512 unlimited i think on jan 14

Yep Airtel 128 Kbps is much faster than Iquara's 256 Kbps and I can tell you its a first hand experience. My sis got this connection at our house in Hyderanad and I had some first hand experience. Every download starts at 24~25 KBps and drops to 8 KBps in an instant. Browsing speed is also just so so. They seem to deliberately limit the bandwidth if they sense that data is being download continiously for some time. Because of this, my sis cound not download any thing. Later I asked my sis to get rid of Iquara and switch to Airtel 128 and its a lot faster. Also I found that they have worse tech support and customer care than the celebrated sify itself.

well tht 256 kbps was an old plan...now this line offered is dedictaed....any1 else using it, plz give ur views
