Shripad Innovator Feb 10, 2008 #2 None of these two. Both are discontinued chipsets and have been replaced by P35 and X38 chipsets. X38 is to be replaced by X48 in a matter of few weeks. If you dont want a crossfire setup, P35 is good enough for now.

We managed 4.7ghz with a E8400 on a 1 1/2 year old p5b dlx P965 chipset... I dont think even newer 680i mobos can do this :rofl:
