A doubt!!

hey guys,
i have a Fivenet connection.....a direct-to-lan card type(no modem)....so i have Hub/LAN facility.but my net speeds r very low.so if get over to a tata indicom plan......can i use my fivenet connection to access the Hub(i currently dont need a net connection to access the hub)....is this possible if i change my LAN cord when required?
 
this is possible rite?....i hav only one LAN card slot.So when i need the Hub i plug in fivenet and when i wanna surf Tata....there wont be any interference??
