A good P45 based MoBo plz, to go down with E8400/E8600!

I have narrowed down on just this one! But, i also found many other Variations on Gigabyte's site itself. I wonder what the other MoBo manufacturers have in store for me. ;)
GIGABYTE - Product - Motherboard - Specification - GA-EP45-UD3P (rev. 1.0)

However, don't know if this is available at Lammy. Also, don't wanna sacrifice the warranty in case i go thru KMD Channel.

Any other alternatives?

Regds

u can get P5Q pro if u want local warranty otherwise get the gigabyte one . the gigabyte one costs around 15k in india .

Are you into some serious OC'ing. Are you sure your ready to invest som much into a motherboard.

If you are the Asus P5Q Pro fits in your budget your good to go with that.

gigabyte ep45-ud3p FTW!!

get it from kmd...wil cost around ~8.5k

buying locally wont be gud option...around 18k

kickass board..

I have tested Gigabyte and ASUS P45 boards under extreme conditions and I gotta hand it over to Gigabyte [hicookie is da man] for making UD3P one of the easiest High-FSB benchable board!! :D

Offcourse I would like to think it was my feedback along with few other enthusiasts from around the world that made UD3P what it is :P

yeah...biostar..tpower i45...

very good ocer for core 2 duos....very good cooling solutions..got cf.

nice bios features...and cheap too ...less than 8ks..

U can even look at the MSI P45 Neo3-FR. Maybe guys who have used this motherboard can shed some light on it. I have personally heard its a good motherboard. If you are interested , you can PM me.

Even more confused now. :S

Though this seems to be an Extreme OC Board, i wonder how would its performance would be, wrt Gaming, etc.

+1 for the Gigabyte UD3P. Lol, it takes 10 days for him to replace the board just in case anything goes wrong. So no worries there.

If that seems a hassle to you, get the P5Q Pro. No clue on the MSI board though.

For a 15K budget you could get an X38 based motherboard. So what if its slightly dated compared to the P45. You have the benifit of two perfectly good 16X PCI-E slots, as opposed to having one 16X and another castrated 8X slot.
Not a fanboy of either Asus, MSI or Gigabyte but the boys at Gigabyte could certainly afford to have a few aesthetics / design chaps around....Their multi coloured board looks like its had a painting accident... My two cents......probably more..

Budget is 10k.

One thing i found out with UDP3 was that it doesn't have e-Sata. They do bundle the Internal Sata Conector, but that consumes 2 Sata Ports. So, thats just mere conversion of 2 Sata ports to e-sata.

Correct me if i'm wrong.

Other than that, its a very good OC board as other members have said. Heavily feature laden, except for e-sata.

But, i was also looking at Boistar T-power I45. What say?

i dont mind the converted esata as the board has 8sata ports.

the board is idle p45 board to have if u can source it from newegg via frnd or kmd. doesnt hit the same sweet spot if u buy it locally...

otherwise biostar T-Power I45 locally.

try x38 for like 11k or so...forget p45

alos p45 neo ones are good(msi) but forget about using 2 rams + sticks. dual channel no oc

p45 neo f or neo3 fr are pretty good proccy ocers, except that u get to use single ram

even if u oc ram on these boards u get very less diff i perf.

but they are good ocers for processors.
