Whatever is happening to Bollywood? Where are those movies that had no kissing and sex scenes and still appealed to the senses?

In any case, I haven't even seen the first one yet!

I liked the first one immensely. D K Bose made its first appearance in it. Some of the dialogues were superb.
 
Talking of dialogues, there is no movie better than Gunda. It forms an integral part of the formative years of the youth in colleges/hostels. I implore every one to watch Gunda, it gets better with every viewing.

Don't be so serious bro!

Just as a recent example Kahani did well without any gimmickry . This film is trying to sell on it's vulgurness and crude comedy and I see nothing wrong with that as long as it is actually living upto this awesome trailer .

It's like our version of American Pie like comedy. Chill and enjoy!

And do watch the first version , it's epic.

I just miss the Chak De India, Lagaan, Taare Zameen Par type movies... Now all I see is some Dirty Picture types doing the rounds which have nothing but cleavage and vulgar dialogues to offer...

I mean, if cleavage and cheap vulgarity was all people wanted, they could always go and watch p0rn and be proud of it... where is the need of these movies??

The first one was really EPIC fun and not like those bloody comic flicks which Akshay Kumar churns out every other weekend. In my view the first movie was at par with Hera Pheri 1.
 
i too really liked the first movie 'kya kool hain hum' and it was one of my first movie in the theatre without my parents while bunking my class..

but, i don't think that this one is gonna be any good as according to me, the jokes that they use currently in hindi comedy movies doesn't appeal to me nor i laugh on them, and still they're making them.. the best days were of hera pheri, masti, kkhm, no entry, etc..

you sir are really old fashioned-i was told this at a theater after a really crappy movie by a 11 year old.

You should be ashamed! You are comparing a great epic with such cheap movies.Its an insult to gunda and its fans.Gunda is a movie which proves there is no end in learning.The more you see this movie the more you discover something new.
 
You sir haven't understood the context in which i quoted the movie Gunda! Gunda is the benchmark set in the 90s and no movie no matter how star studded the cast has ever come as close to being the epic that gunda is. Gunda has etched itself in the annals of cinema with gold plated characters setting a standard so high that it can never ever be surpassed.
