That Aamir Khan movie of last year with that little kid has a song in which he's dressed as a clown. That is a straight lift from Vivaldi's Flute Concerto.
This is a major crime.I mean how can they lift music tunes so blatantly? Isn't there any law against it? I remember there was background tune in the movie Mohra which was directly ripped off from my favourite movie Terminator II.
During my teenage days I was very naive of these concepts but now looking back(& forward) it seems like a never ending nightmare. This is still a very minute list compared to the movie plagiarism that Indian cinema has done.It feels so shameful that they lift all ideas, scenes & heck even dialogues at times directly from Hollywood. This is simply unacceptable.
  , well i say...if it sounds better does it matter???most of our indian junta would have never heard of those tunes and songs if not for our "HIGHLY CREATIVE"  , music directors!!!! , play on....we r still listening....:ashamed:
I remember when roshans were sued by ram sampath and had to pay an hefty price they later on published a letter in all the newspaper giving clarification n all. They said that "flimkraft" is a very respectful and honourable company and would never do such a thing n all that.
But i was laughing and i thought what do they have to say about the script that they copied to make Krazzy 4.
I still remember that Bappi lahari sued dr.dre for sampling his music .. and i was like how can a criminal in the same field demand for punishment for co-criminal.
Bollywood really has no credibility left. I am rather shocked to see that even the oldies were lifted from somewhere or the other.
I still cannot beleive this industry has survived all these years. The way they copy movies and music really should shut all the studios and record labels around here.
But the funny thing is that they strongly oppose piracy.
