Budget 51-70k A mini comparo of Laptop processors and some recommendations

Great job!! Thanks a lot!! Now a total noob question: What's the logical upgrade from 8th Gen i5 lg gram, the bottleneck has been the processor for moderately heavy MIDI tracks with 3-4 external plugins ( mostly Neutron 3), considerable lag after adding 5-6 tracks in Ableton Live 11.
Budget: not really an issue, but shouldn't go above 1500EUR, No M1 please.
If you don't need to stick to the same size/weight then something based on an 6/8-core U series processor. Otherwise a higher power H part in a gaming/creator type model. Ideally you'd want something with low DPC latency; most brands are comparable with the exception of Dell's stuff.

Problem is, weight is a big issue for me. Lighter the better.
Have a look at Ryzen 5000 series hex and Octa core ultrabooks - they offer performance on par with Ibtel's 6 and 8 cores in a much slimmer, lighter design, while still having great battery life. I think you can get a really good HP Envy or Spectre in the budget, or even an Asus Zenbook. Could also look at Lenovo ultrabooks in the Yoga/ThinkPad lineup as well
