so that it creates a sensation and a viral and people post it in forums, share the youtube link, comment on it and so on........its a part of marketing process called 'recall' By doing that it makes a customer aware of the products and makes them recall the brand or the product when they are making a buying decision.

It will sound funny to us techies because we know these products very well. Its for the masses
