Would definitely recommend you to go for a pro if you can afford to. Though ps4 and ps4 pro have the same gen name but the performance difference is vast. It is more like 4.5 vs 4
It does 1080p at 60 for games which ps4 does 1080p at 30..or you can choose higher res from game menu and operate at 4k 30fps. Either way it is definitely much better.
Now whether your setup requires 4k or 60 fps or not is truly up to your preference and the setup.
On my projector with 150 inch screen I can tell you there is a day and night difference.
