A query regarding sending SMS messages

I have a bluetooth enabled phone (5800XM) and PC. I wanted to know if its possible that I write an SMS on my PC using my keyboard and send it via my mobile.
Basically what I want to do is to use my PC to write/read an SMS and use the phone only to send the message that I wrote on my PC.
 
why not, just install pc suite, better connect your cell phone using data cable next do these steps:
#install pc suite
#click on "messages"
#click on "create a new message, the envelop icon with a star

LO you are done :)
 
Nokia Ovi Suite's interface looks nice but its buggy for me while sending/receiving/refreshing messages so, I prefer the old Nokia PC Suite. It works perfect and would recommend the same to you !

You can connect via Bluetooth and start sending messages instantly.

I cant use it via Bluetooth, atleast with the Ovi suite. Its says I do not have some modem driver or something and it needs to be installed then it keeps on trying and after a while it says connection not possible.

What's a Modem River?? Do you mean a modem Driver??

Why don't you just use a data cable?? It works fine with the Ovi Suite.

You can use Nokia PC suite, connecting via bluetooth is possible but is considerably slow compared to usb cable connection.

Yeah it was a typo, its driver. I can use the cable (And im using it currently) but its really short plus bluetooth is simply better as its wireless.

I just need it to send out messages so I think the speed would be enough for that, right?

I that case go ahead, install pc suite, connect via bluetooth, send msg :)
