Graphic Cards a very serious dilemma

i have a problem, which i consider very serious, and i dunno what to do.

i really need your suggestions and views. here is the problem,

i had submitted my EVGA GTX 295 because of overheating to tirupati. they called me and told me if the card is faulty, which it is, i have 2 options:

1.) I can get a new Palit GTX 295 as replacement as they are out of evga ones, permanently. (new meaning i get 3 years warranty like a new card and not the remaining)

2.) they send the card to EVGA europe, and i get a credit note from EVGA/tirupati which would be around 25k INR. so i can get anything from tirupati for tht amount.

i just dunno what to do here. i mean should i get a palit card, or do i take the money n invest somewhere else.

please help!!!
 
Palit is a crap brand nothing near to EVGA quality, so get back ur 25k money, buy HD5850 instead of HD5870 (u can OC HD5850 to get some juice) bcoz HD5870 priced @ 24k+ which is a another crap:@ So get HD5850 @ 17k is a gud VFM:hap2:

Note: GTX 295 is powerful than HD5870>HD5850 but pretty old gen card and have heavy power consumption but new HD5000's cards have lower Pow Cons and good performance next 295GTX and also with feature proof tech:)
 
^You might wanna take the Credit from EVGA if they are providing 20k+ to you,as you can buy 5870 HD by spending a little more.

Otherwise, settle for Palit GTX 295,you may ask them if they have any other brand...............

Palit high end cards are not crap. They have got some of the best cooling solution.

Even if u can get 20k just get the monies:cool2:
 
umm... i found out a while back that i would get a credit note only and not cash. :ashamed: so i can only buy from tirupati ie, evga or palit only
now what???

so basically unless palit releases 5870 in the very near future, i should get the palit gtx 295? or should i put in 5k more n get 2 x gtx 275 or sell the card put in k more n buy 5870...

y d hell doesnt tirupati have any damn gtx 295s..............
 
buy 2 X EVGA GTX 275 with the credit note, sell it in the market and get one HD5870, sli is not a very good idea cause u would have to invest on your motherboard (assuming u don't bhave an sli board) + extra power + sli scaling issues at times.
