Which board would be better for an ATI graphics based system (assuming a single card all through all the way, no CF or SLI)
Assuming I already know the answer for an NVIDIA based sys...

Reasons would be appreciated :)

Links also :ohyeah:

Assume modest OC'es nothing great...

Also I'd like some info on the boards cooling, will the NV based mobo cool better, as the ATI based one seems to have a regular HS type solution... any temperature readings for a comparison...

Help soon :)

between these 2, the A8N 32 SLI Dlx wins hands down. Better chipset, more reliability, the chipset has been tried and tested for a couple of years now.

The A8R MVP is based on a more or less new chipset and may not be as stable. And the reviews I have read of that are not very encouraging... too many issues and instability.

And no point in going for A8R MVP when A8R 32 MVP is almost here.... If you have to buy it now only, then I sau nvidia.

But if you are willing to wait, then hang on and see if the issues on the A8R 32 MVP are sorted out..... lots of guys had issues with it...

EDIT: Sorry no links :P If I have to give you links, I will google for it and am sure you have already done that.

^^The issues have already been fixed. A8R32 anyday if u want 2x16X slots at RD580 seemingly does crossfire and sli both :P.

Yup i agree, A8R32-MVP with the new bios is doing really well. A8R-MVP isnt a bad board but definitely cant compare to these two. But one more thing to take into consideration, the A8R costs like half the price of the other two.

hmmm...i wanted the A8R32-MVP my self.. but after reading lot of posts here got a bit discouraged and had dropped the idea..but since u guys saying the new bios is working fine... i m again wanting to buy one...

so any idea how to and from where to get one...

anyone of u guys sellin?

darky? help!! :)

Me game for selling.....

Arranging something for me...lol

PM me redscorpion.

@ Vandal,

if i remember correctly you had good enough reasons to avoid the A8N32 SLI .How come you asking for it or A8R32 now ? How the sudden change ?

^^ DFI Expert....:ohyeah:

@ Vandal - A8R32 would be a better choice..

Else get Darky's A8N32, he'll give ya a good deal :P
