'Aahat' is Back to scare us

+1 for Zee Horror Show (IMHO Tales from the Crypt of India) the best ever horror series from Indian Television Network.
 
I watched Aahat's opening episode. Shat my pants. Then saw an episode again 2 years later and it wasn't scary anymore :P Also Z-Horror Show's tune is stuck in my head forever.

Seriously though, I didn't know anyone really found Ahaat or ZHS scary. The stories were okay sometimes, but most of times bad makeups and stupid sound effects would kill it for me.... worst of it, sometimes I would laugh my ass off in some episodes. Personally, I think few of the first episodes of Ahaat were way better compared to whatever ZHS aired, at least story wise. Letter it just became spin-offs and mix-ups of original stories.

Has anyone seen MTV's Room 401? It doesn't air here in India but I had caught couple episodes when I was in Seychelles. It's not Ahaat or ZHS type show, but it shows dramatization/re-acts events of urban legends or stories that are told between people. The way it's presented and shown is really good, sort of like indie documentary or films.
 
The previous version of Aahat was silly, stupid, illogical and obnoxious and i am sure the newer version will not be different.

Dont know best or not but has been running for more than 10 years and name like Daya and Abhijeet are instantly identified :)
 
Aaahat and Sannata... scared the hell outta me.. Still cannot watch creepy movies... I lose sleep and sleep in office so completely stopped :ashamed:

Sorry dude... there were way better crime/detective serials comapred to CID and they were made way before CID. 100 (marathi, ek-shunya-shunya), Byomkesh Bakshi, Tehkikat are few names to note.

Except for first few episodes of CID, rest of serial is full of stupid, illogical and idotic gadgets and over-dramatization (a la daily soap effects), there is hardly any credible investigation work shown these days.

It use to come on (every Wednesday)

Surely will watch today' episode @ 11pm ab8 Some deadly train Gajadhar MAIL in BLARA JUNCTION.

Preview of story is some girl has escaped from hand of Cid in 12 years and has come to BLARA junction. Story revolves round this.
