Yes. Seems like that . The girl flees from cid , Som1 has first escaped froom clutches of CID in 12yrs and comes to BLARA JUNction where she encounters the deadly Gajadhar MAIL .
 
Aahat was never scary but funny. Being funny made it interesting enough for me to watch it.

I think the first episode has not even completed yet and I have already turned off my TV that is how boring it was for me.

My rating for the show: -1^(1/0)

Not at all horrifying. I mean a lady buying tickets in central station mumbai from a counter nobody sees and in presence of everybody nobody sees her moving into the wall.
Next when 1 of the 3 students of the institute get drawn people see the person.
I mean grow up. Introduction was very sudden not giving time to spare the details.

It was just n opinion i gave out of 10. No it was actually funny , seeing them trying to scare us.

Except for first few episodes of CID, rest of serial is full of stupid, illogical and idotic gadgets and over-dramatization (a la daily soap effects), there is hardly any credible investigation work shown these days.

Agreed Cid does make mockery of forensic sciences, but that is TV they have to show everything in 1 hour and must get down to the level of a common man to make the series at least understandable, however it story is still good after 12 years....
 
@Panther: I still disagree... The serials that I listed were also TV serials and they could show a good investigation story without being complex or using over-dramatization. All of those series featured stories that average joe could understand and enjoy.

As I said... CID was good in the begining, now it's nothing but a stupid and stupid. It's like a Micheal Bay movie... hardly any good story, but special effects and blowing things up try to make up for it. Unfortunately for CID, the special effects are bad and other gimmickry falls flat on it's face.
 
Current aahat seems to have cheap production values. Saw 20min and changed. Still will try and check back later.

Acting in CID has become bad and the show on the whole has a cheap look. Still worth a watch sometimes.
 
@raksrules: I was once CID watcher too, but as you can see I've moved on. :)

As for success rate... "Kyoki Saans..." is successful too when you look at the TRP and running period or Himesh Reshmiya is successful too... what's your point again? :P
 
Aaahat Season1 from 1995-1997 was REAL Good & had surprsing horror-pshyo-horror elements thrown in with good results..that's why it became such a Popular legend..i tried to follow Ahhat 2,found it total crap & mayb the more recent Aaahats r worse of the lot..mayb the director the whole production unit changed..it simply doesNOT have those reall good horror elements of the original series...I think the latest one will be a joke comapred to the first season!..i still miss the goosebumps from some of the episodes in the first season!
